On August 3rd, we officially started the first of our series of Art & Language courses at EduLift beginning with
Spoken Word Poetry.
Art & Language is a new and second program of EduLift that focuses on developing language skills among students through the support of an art form. The courses under this program will be a month long with the main objectives of enabling participants to have more exposure to fine arts; creating an active and experiential learning of fine arts and languages; and developing life-skills among participants such as creativity, communication and collaboration skills.
For this first course on Spoken Word Poetry, our participants are 15 students of class 9 from Mahendra Boudha Higher Secondary School, Kathmandu.
