As with every week, on the fifth week (May 11-15) students worked around a weekly challenge on the theme of Plastic Waste Management. The students developed a campaign plan around this issue with the help of Liliana Salazar, a Barcelona based research & service innovation specialist who volunteered to facilitate this weekly challenge.
On Thursday, 15th May in our Guest Speaker Series, artist Sujan Dangol shared with us his experiences in recycling waste into utility and art objects. His recent work- Through My Stories- was exhibited at the Siddhartha Art Gallery.
Students also blog every week about their past week’s experiences. Through these blogs they are able to share their experiences as well as document all their learning at EduLift. Tenzin Tsering Sherpa shared with us his analysis of the movie they watched last week- Lord of the Flies through his blogspot.
